Muktinath Pilgrimage Tour (including Pashupatinath )

The Pashupatinath temple is one of the holiest Hindu temples in the Hindu world. Itis situated only 5 km east of the city center. The holy river called Bagmati flows nearby the temple. Non Hindus have to be satisfied with the glimpse of the periphery of the temple. Muktinath, Jomsom is a major center in the Annapurna region. Though it is situated in a difficult topography there is a world class accommodation facility in Jomsom from where one can enjoy remarkable natural beauty. Religious spot, Mukti Nath is situated in Mustang district, near Thorangpass at 3810 mts.height. Hindus regard Mukti Nath as the incarnation of Lord Bishnu where as Buddhists regard it as Buddha. Muktinath as the name suggestsis said to provide Salvation & has a detailed elaboration in our Dharma Shatras. Muktinath is the only shrine where a combination of Hindu and Buddhist priest Dom is found. The shrine is a beautiful pagoda styled signature of mix of indo gangetic and Tibetan cultural. A Shradha (the rituals after the death)at the confluence of Kag khola and river Kaligandagi at Kagbeni and worship after that in the shrine of lord Muktianth is heavenly and boon bestowing. One would be enlightened and thrilled to have theDarshan of Lord Vishnu flanked by the idols of His divine consorts Goddess Lakshmi and Goddess earth on right and left.The temple is at the altitude of 3667 m and covers a beautiful panoramic Himalayas.

Detail Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu. Welcome at International Airport by our Tour Manager /Transfer to the Hotel /Small briefing regarding Package and other necessary information about the sight seeing points and timing /Evening free for Casino visit and O/night at Hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing tour. Morning breakfast at Hotel /sight seeing tour (visit Pashupatinath Boudhanath or Swaymbhunath Budhanilkanth ( The Sleeping Vishnu )/free time for shopping and overnight at Hotel.

Day 03: Drive kathmandu to Pokhara. Morning Breakfast at Hotel /Departure for Pokhara. 200 kms (takes.5 & half hour drive .On the way enjoy with the view of green Mountains and Trishuli River which is famous for the Rafting/on the way manakamana Darshan ( The Sakhti Pith ) by cable car on arrival at Pokhara hotel welcome drinks/take rest / Evening walk around the lake & Boating at Fewa lake/night at Hotel.

Day 04: Fly pokhara to jomsom and drive to Muktinath. Early Morning /Departure to domestic airport and take a flight for Jomsom/Arriveat Jomsom / have B/ fast / take a pony trek or Jeep Drive drive to Muktinath (take 1 and half hrs trek to reach the Muktinath/visit Muktinath Temple for Aarti and darshan / Back to jomsom / Lunch at Hotel / Evening walk at Jomsom Village and O/night at best available Hotel or Lodge.

Day 05: Drive back to jomsom and fly back to pokhara. Morning breakfast at Hotel /Departure for airport and take a flight for Pokhara/Transfer to Hotel/B/ fast at Hotel / rest/go for sight seeing tour (visit Davis falls Gupteshawar cave Seti River Bindevashini Temple ( Shaktipith) /museum) evening cultural program O/night at Hotel.

Day 06: Drive back to Kathmandu. Morning breakfast at Hotel/Departure for Kathmandu/Arrive at Hotel /free for shopping and O/night at Hotel.
